Job Summary:

  • Facilitate and deliver learning programs. Maintain an active knowledge of the subject taught, understand and utilize various participant learning styles in order to facilitate the best teaching and learning situations.
  • Work as a member of the Content Innovation & Development team to curate content that supports learning needs.
  • Produce interactive and engaging multimedia content to support the organization’s learning strategy, including but not limited to video and e-module.
  • Support account manager in executing learning exercises to Line of Business / in-tact teams. This includes: diagnosing needs, providing appropriate recommendations, conducting training, and sustaining the learning through ongoing learning activities.
  • Handle learning administration, this includes: working with external vendors of program offerings at HKDL, coordinating training venues, preparing training material, managing pre and post-engagement of various learning programs; rescheduling and reconciling attendance for classes. 
  • Lead and facilitate various initiatives and projects e.g., the newsletter of Disney University.
  • Lead and facilitate the Education Reimbursement program.
  • Deal with other ad hoc learning related matter.

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree. Education in Training & Development, Human Resources Management, Business Administration or Psychology preferred.
  • At least 2 years’ relevant experience.
  • Solid learning and development experience gained in sizable organizations preferred.
  • Good presentation and facilitation skills. Ability to facilitate classes in an engaging, energetic and culturally sensitive manner.
  • Good communication skills. Be able to build an effective relationships with others and achieve result through team work.
  • Ability to work independently with proven time management skills and ability to deliver on multiple tasks.
  • High learning agility, able to be a self-starter with strong attention to details and be reflective to seek continuous improvement.
  • Basic understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design theory, and measurement and evaluation methods.
  • Foundation on multimedia software, including but not limited to Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere. Curious in at least one e-learning production software (e.g. Articulate 360) and passionate on crafting engaging simple digitized learning solutions for blended learning approach.
  • Proficiency in Cantonese, English and Putonghua (verbal and written communication).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office to provide support related to learning and development.
