Job Summary:

This is a critical role in driving the overall success of Hong Kong Disneyland’s success. This manager will oversee the operations finance function in forecasting, planning, performance analyses, long term business development and near term new initiative evaluation. This individual will be a trusted partner for the business owners and leaders to provide subject matter expertise from Finance perspective, provide update on latest business performance and trends, and advice on improvement opportunities to drive success of the business.


  • Oversee part of the operations finance function for HKDL and act as trusted partner for the business owners which bring value creation to the company
  • Supervise and manage a team in delivering the following:
    • Prepare month end variance analysis, forecasting and handle all regular segment/management reporting
    • Develop Annual Operating Plan and Long Term Plan
    • Handle the financial queries from LOBs
    • Understand, interpret and apply key financial, operational metrics and guest satisfaction to the analysis of the new products or initiatives
    • Provide ad hoc analysis (proforma, post-mortem etc.)
    • Maintain and enhance the financial planning model
  • Closely monitor the financial performance and highlight the key opportunities and challenges to senior management for their decision making
  • Coordinate with internal parties for all financial planning activities (e.g. Annual Operating Plan and Long Term Plan)
  • Implement projects for process improvement and people development
  • Work closely with financial reporting and internal control team to implement the control and execute HKDL policies

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance or Business related discipline
  • At least 8 years of experience in financial analysis, financial management, accounting and people management
  • Proficient in excel and PowerPoint
  • High proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Strong business acumen & analytical skills
  • Strong system skills, preferably SAP
  • Self-motivated, independent and with high integrity
  • Good track record of transferring skills and people development
