Job Summary:

As leader of Sales Analysis and Planning team, you are responsible for systematically analyzing and assessing the sales goals and growth opportunities for Sales team and providing data analysis to support sales strategy development and decision making. You will collect, utilize and integrate sales sell in and sell through data or reports from various sources to make deep dive analysis by market, by channel and by customer to track sales performance, identify the gap and opportunity across channels of Online Travel Agency (OTA), E-Commerce, Travel Agency and Meetings Incentives Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE), including developing analytics, developing reporting templates for sales to report, preparing recommendations and presentations. You will take initiative to drive Annual Operations Planning (AOP) bottom up discussion, sales target breakdown and support sales change management towards to an organization with high performing culture and number and factual based business planning. This position reports directly to the Sales Vice President for Hong Kong Disneyland and will be expected to work closely with sales leadership team and some senior leaders from other teams in a high pressure, high exposure environment with tight deadlines.


  • Collect, integrate and work out sales data and report from various sources to track overall and individual sales performance and identify gaps and opportunities and give recommendations at channel and KAC (key account) level and push sales team leaders to take action plan
  • Oversee the master sales AOP bottom up planning, drive data and factual based discussion and planning processes with deliverables of sales target by market, channel and customer
  • Manage sales performance and productivity analysis, transform measurement and Analytics in the area of sales growth opportunity - Market, Region, Channel and KAC analytics are critical focus areas
  • Conduct in-depth and dynamic data analysis from complex datasets, derive business insights from analysis results. Prepare Sales performance updates to sales leadership team meeting review with business users
  • Sell in and Sell through analysis to have a better understanding of our sourcing markets and distribution landscape
  • Lead the measurement and analysis, standardize key sales planning and report templates, train Analytics team, drive and coach other sales leaders/ colleagues to plan and maintain their own plan

Basic Qualifications:

  • A university degree in Science or Business, preferably in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years of experience in Data Science/ Business Analytics from financial service/ Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) with analytics, research or consulting agency industries
  • Expertise in setting up analytics projects and translating analytics output to business outcome
  • Expertise in the Analytics space of market/ channel Mix Modelling, the space of Pricing and Promotion analytics
  • Experience in handling customer/ consumer data and analysis
  • Solid skills in data mining, predictive model building and customer data analysis. Experience and knowledge in BI, data visualization (Power BI/ Tableau), digitization and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) related activities will be an asset
  • Strong business sense to comprehend business issues and needs, interpret analysis result from business perspective and make actionable recommendations
  • Good interpersonal skills, proactive working attitude with analytical mindset, team spirit and problem solving skills
  • Proficient of both spoken and written English and Chinese
