Job Summary:

The job incumbent plans, integrates and implements holistic marketing strategies and programs for all sales and distribution channels, spanning across online and traditional travel trade channels, third party distribution partners, eCommerce/ shopping platforms; to niche business segments covering Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions (MICE) business, corporate events, meetings, social catering, weddings and youth programs. While overseeing these promotions for the Hong Kong and international markets, the job incumbent performs a supporting and integration function for China promotions.


  • Develop distribution marketing strategy and annual operating plan and budget of Distribution Marketing. Oversee the planning and execution of targeted promotions, events, trade education, communications and marketing tactics for trade, third party channels, MICE, corporate, events, weddings and Youth programs, with the view to driving sales for these channels

  • Represent the teams to interact with related departments on regular basis to facilitate the launch and execution of marketing promotions and events, trade advertising, PR and publicity programs. Be the advocate to provide viewpoints from the Sales and Distribution Marketing perspectives, communicate needs required to achieve the objectives

  • Launch products and offerings through various trade activations and communications. Orchestrate the design and production of point of sales materials, collaterals, premiums, webinars, websites, advertising resources, education and communication tools

  • Drive the integration of by-market trade promotional plans on annual and monthly basis. Monitor the budget spend, cost-effectiveness and Return on Investment (ROI) of the programs, and ensure the approval process and result tracking mechanism are in place

  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with both internal and external partners. Manage and communicate with external vendors and suppliers for optimal services

  • Administer personnel functions including manpower planning, rostering and resolving staff issues. Coach and provide guidance to the teams to ensure team objectives are met, enable their skills development and ensure the succession plan is in place

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree holder in business or related discipline

  • At least 10 years of experience in marketing, trade/ channel marketing in a sizable organization of leisure, hospitality, entertainment, marketing and advertising, fast-moving consumer goods would be preferred

  • Experience in diverse marketing disciplines across marketing communications, consumer and product marketing, traditional and digital marketing, creative development, media planning and placement, event planning and execution, publicity and public relations

  • Knowledge of travel distribution landscape of the theme park, hospitality, leisure and entertainment industry, as well as understanding of different key markets and their consumer behaviors, regulatory and licensing requirements in executing advertising and promotion programs would be preferred.

  • Strong communications and negotiation skills

  • Sound marketing knowledge, project planning and execution skills

  • Strategic thinking and analytical mind

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, people management and organization skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua in a highly organized, persuasive, and credible manner
