The Show Audio and Video Trainee / Part-Time is a member of the technical show quality team and works very closely with Parks & Resorts Facility Services Cast Members to maintain the highest quality of audio and video effect throughout the resort. In additional to a high degree of AV technical skills, the audio and video Trainee / Part-Time also got a creative sense for proper Disney theme environment, a good knowledge of the Disney brand, and the capacity to work independently as well as in a team environment.
From this job, you will gain theme park working experience, understand Disney show quality requirement and know how to apply AV technical knowledge in creating Magic.
Job Responsibilities
- Support designers in video and audio show reviews and review documentations
- Support designers in providing solutions for show defects, e.g. projector alignment, speaker test, audio and video system trouble shooting
- Help designer identify appropriate AV equipment spec per show quality requirement
- Coordinate with vendors and Facility Services to set up mock up test
- Conduct basic AV work duties under designer's direction
Job Requirements
- Arts design, electrical engineering or IT related background is required
- Must be sensitive to lights, colors and/or sound
- Strong working knowledge in at least one of those fields, audio or video
- Hands on experiences in projector mapping/alignment is required and/or Experiences in Qsys programming or Smaart is required.
- Willing to work overnight
- Fluent in both English and Cantonese
