Job Summary:

This role is responsible for driving publicity for international market; supporting and formulating content strategy on publicity, delivering the desired articulation of Hong Kong Disneyland’s (HKDL) brand, franchise and product stories, and managing reputation through social media, media and influencer engagement in Hong Kong and across Asia. He/ she will work with different lines of business and Communications and Public Affairs teams, providing integrated communication solutions to serve HKDL’s business needs. This role requires creativity, organizational, internal and external collaborating skills and ability to manage priorities and keep abreast of the latest social media trends.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop PR strategies and executions for International market to deliver business and communications objectives

  • Support and develop content strategies to deliver business and publicity objectives, and orchestrating across different social platforms. Formulate and execute content ideas that deliver the desired articulation of Hong Kong Disneyland’s brand, franchise and product stories

  • Support Associate Manager, Publicity, in the implementation of PR and communication messaging and content strategies for company’s cross functional / commercial drive projects 

  • Interface with various lines of business, Communications and Public Affairs teams as well as manage agency to ensure quality and timely deliverables

  • Evaluate and review learning for continuous improvement

Job Requirements

  • University graduate, major in public relations/marketing/creative media/new media.

  • At least 3 years with public relations/social agency or in house, regional experience is preferable

  • Understand PR and social media landscape; producing social content, including moody photos and creative videos; develop social media post copy in Chinese and English

  • Influence and/or motivate numerous lines of business to achieve the communication goals

  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Power Point, Outlook and Excel. Willing to learn new applications or software as technology advances.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, fluent in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)
