Overall Purpose of the Role
To assist the Buyer and Associate Buyer by supporting the work flow for the department across shopDisney, flagship stores, and third party marketplaces. Utilising knowledge and understanding of brands, product categories, and consumer segments within the regional landscape. Build and maintain cross-functional partnerships with teams that support the channels across the region.
Under the leadership of the Buyer or Associate Buyer, assist in developing the range plan for assigned categories across brands. Curate the global range for all regional channels to meet financial goals. Manage the day to day to include purchase order (PO) process and provide data to cross functional partners and vendors, as permitted within legal and compliance parameters, to manage the product and commercial flow for the business.
This role is based at our Hammersmith London Head Office 4 days per week.
Areas of Responsibility
Build quarterly competitive, and trend, shopping analysis at category level across all channels and regional markets,
Prepare and maintain photobooks as needed, aligning with product flow calendar and quarterly showcase deliverables,
Deliver all product details/navigation and quarterly product briefs to support product hand-off to site merchandising, creative, and visual teams,
Monitor and communicate the product quality report in conjunction with Product Integrity (PI) and global sourcing and agreed action plans,
Communicate with key partners and teams on global assortment range plans, including shifts, and provide consistent timely updates including off cycle cadence,
Provide presentation decks, business recaps and hindsight reports for key milestone meetings and co-ordinate data points from key partners,
Track item set up, define item masters and raise POs in alignment with buying and planning timelines for relevant channels. Responsible for PO revisions to enable accurate order book,
Provide weekly on-line checks and maintain corrective action plan for accuracy of information at regional market level. Monitor Bazaarvoice reviews and report out for consumer centric strategy,
Track delivery of all category POs in partnership with sourcing, production, and the department coordinator, and escalate shipment issues in a timely manner. Identify sales risks and resolve these where appropriate,
Responsible for managing and ensuring accuracy of the range plan assortment.

Experience and Professional Qualifications Required
Experience within a similar level buying role within a retail, omni-channel buying environment, essential,
Experience as a Buyers Assistant and undertaking related responsibilities,
Degree-level education in a related field or equivalent work experience,
Experience in a buying department, operating across global markets, desirable,
Skills Required
Strong communication skills across all levels of the business,
High levels of organisation and attention to detail,
Financial aptitude,
Adept in delivering multiple assignments and deadlines,
Computer literate, proficient in using key Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint),

Proficiency in merchandise systems and processes,
Cultural sensitivity and understanding of global markets.

Flexibility for travel may be required,
