- This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.

Job Summary:

Summary of the Role

To support the Commercial Manager/Senior Commercial Manager/Commercial Lead in translating and executing the Home Entertainment Category strategy within an individual or collective set of accounts in order to achieve and exceed the sales targets and key category KPI’s as defined by the corporate fiscal plan across all clients.

Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract.

The Opportunity & Responsibilities

The Commercial Supervisor will be responsible for the following key areas:

  • Supporting in the delivery of the annual turnover and KPI’s targets, across an individual or collective set of accounts in line with the category annual operating plan
  • Working in partnership with Senior Commercial Manager to deliver successful trading terms negotiations where appropriate
  • Deliver annual Account plans designed to deliver and exceed all internal targets along with exceeding customer expectations
  • Work with other line of business within Disney to ensure we are leveraging and maximizing category opportunities for the TWDC at Retail  

   

Financial

  • Turnover and P&L Responsibility – development and execution of plans that deliver and exceed the P&L and Budgets as defined
  • Deliver and exceed key KPI’s
  • Effective and accurate management of all budgets and investments with in the account

Customer Strategy

  • Deliver an annual Account Plan, for a single of collective customer group (at individual customer level), consistent with the overall channel and UK Home Entertainment Category strategy.
  • Present and secure approval for strategy, internally and with Customer.
  • Define, manage and oversee investment and budget priorities across Home Entertainment (HE) category.
  • Lead recommendations for exploring new business opportunities with the Customer.
  • Review progress regularly against strategic goals with Customer and internally.
  • Leverage HE category to drive greater company and franchise return 

Customer Plan

  • Deliver 12 month account plans for individual or collective account group. Plan to include: Revenue targets, Key KPI’s, growth, display, operational & administration improvements, and investment.
  • Deliver format or category-specific plans where appropriate in account or group of accounts.
  • Lead and implement the agreed plans both internally and externally across: Marketing, Supply Chain, Category, retail analytics, and other key stakeholders.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as an ambassador for TWDC
  • Act as ambassador for the individual or collective account group internally in order to ensure all commercial opportunities are known to the TWDC.
  • Lead, create and maintain an effective client contact matrix across all depts. to a senior level.
  • Contribute in partnership with Senior Commercial Manager to informing relevant stakeholders internally.
  • Work with all HE department and Retail stakeholders

Sales Administration and processes

  • Support the Commercial Team in administrative tasks were appropriate
  • Operate within specified standards.
  • Lead and deliver all sales administration processes and ensure account files up to date and accurate.
  • Oversee and Manage customer in line with trade investment agreement – reporting internally & to the Customer on payment.
  • Deliver regular Sales and ROI analysis for collective account group.
  • Lead account forecasting process for defined account.

Experience and Professional Qualifications Required

  • Established Account Management experience for a leading UK retailer
  • Ability to develop effective business relationships both internal and external 
  • Strong communication & influencing skills
  • Strong level of numeracy and PC skills
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills
  • Effecting planning and organization skills, ability to multi-task
  • Understanding of consumer marketing, category management preferred
  • Interpersonal and organizational sensitivity in a matrix structure
  • Graduate caliber or equivalent preferred
