Job Summary
The Contract Management Centre (CMC) manages the full contract administration process for the Licensing Business of Consumer Products, Games and Publishing across Disney, Marvel, LucasFilm, National Geographic and 20th Century throughout EMEA. CMC manages a range of key operational projects as well as building and running regular business metrics for the CPGP division.
The Contract & Business Analyst will manage the full lifecycle for merchandise and publishing agreements, working with a large range of internal stakeholders (i.e. Category Managers, Finance, Legal) to draft all contracts, amendments and other legal documentation, as well as giving guidance and advice around licensing policies and procedures. You will participate, and in some instances lead on, process and operational projects, delivery of training to internal stakeholders and undertake user acceptance testing on all our licensing systems.
This role will require you to be on-site 4 days a week.
The Opportunity & Responsibilities:
Reviewing all contract requests (renewals and new business) for policy compliance and data accuracy. Overseeing the whole contract lifecycle in our internal contracts system to ensure our pipeline is moving forward and is efficient.
Drafting and issuing contracts, amendments and all other contractual documents (i.e., termination letters, payment plans, consent to transfer letters). Partnering with our legal team on specialised contract language.
Digitally filing fully executed contracts, maintaining all relevant correspondence relating on the contractual process.
Coordinating and leading on regular meetings with our internal stakeholders across EMEA. Dealing with a range of licensing queries.
Being responsible for providing timely written updates on our internal system, Fusion, on all ongoing contracts and tasks.
Preparing regular status reports on the contract lifecycle, communicating key business deadlines.
Being involved in communication and training programmes within the team and with our internal stakeholders, to enhance licensing knowledge across the business.
Partnering with the Revenue Accounting team to ensure timely revenue recognition and issue resolution.
Participating and supporting departmental and business projects to enhance and improve processes, operations, and systems across CPGP.
Translating/maintaining contract templates for six languages (English, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, German and French).
The Experience We Require From You:
Must have fluent English verbal and written communication skills
Previous experience of working in either a finance, contract/licensing, business and/or customer service role
Working knowledge of licensing contracts
Working knowledge of enterprise systems i.e. contract management
Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficiency
Fluency in core European language(s) very beneficial
Good stakeholder management experience
University degree or equivalent preferred
