The position is on an EMEA scope for DDI / WDTC and mostly focused on UK/Ireland for DLP. The role reports to Senior Attorney, Legal Affairs for CPC & Travel and is part of the legal organization supporting Parks & Resorts commercial activities EMEA headed at Disneyland Paris
-Be the first point of contact for queries from Sales, Marketing, Media and Guest Care teams within the specified line of business,
-Draft and conclude vendor agreements, promotion partnership agreements, trade contracts, and amendments thereto, booking terms & conditions, and other legal documentation required by the business,
-Advise on regulatory issues around DDI/WDTC currently supporting Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line in EMEA and DLP in UK/Ireland,
-Provide continuing legal support to DLP and DDI/WDTC in relation to travel-related matters, including websites, media, promotions, consumer law, e-commerce, Guest claims and litigation, etc.
-Liaise with the sales teams in London, Paris and the overseas offices in relation to the deal points on travel regulations,
-Strengthen internal and external relationships in ways that benefit the business.
-Develop a solid understanding of the business’s expectations and negotiating position through effective utilisation of cross-functional expertise,
-Work with sales team to structure and support negotiation of agreements,
-Set up standard processes, including templates and standard contracts as appropriate, and train business teams to follow and use them effectively.

-Keep up to date with legislative, regulatory and case-law developments and inform clients, colleagues and superiors whenever relevant,
-Work effectively with departmental colleagues on a cross-functional and cross-territory basis,
-Adhere to defined best practice processes, taking opportunities to improve them where available,
-Drive to develop knowledge of the product slate, distribution media and the territory environment (including customers and market dynamics) on a continuing basis,
-Keep up to date with relevant legal developments and, where appropriate, take opportunities to share that knowledge with colleagues,
-Foster a ‘continuous improvement’ culture, ensuring that policies and processes will protect the business.
Basic Qualifications:-Proven experience in legal department of International company, ideally in leisure and/or tourism industry
-Commercial contract drafting experience
-Experience in providing legal support to sales, marketing and promotional activities
-Understanding of negotiation and good contract drafting skills
-Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage support to numerous clients in varied areas
-Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
-Ability to work well in a team and good interpersonal skills
-Ability to work with, and drive, outside counsels
-Methodical, meticulous and with great attention to detail
-Ability to communicate legal matters to non-legal audience (e.g. sales and marketing teams)
-Interact well with people who have different backgrounds and work styles
-Listen and ask questions to ensure understanding
-Convey relevant information in a candid and timely manner
Additional Information:Some travels, in particular to Disneyland Paris.
