The Walt Disney Company is looking for a talented E-Commerce Senior Manager, EMEA –Strategy & Operations, to join our team based in Hammersmith on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

As the E-Commerce Senior Manager, EMEA, you will be responsible for key projects within our strategic and technical roadmap in digital commerce with the ultimate goal of transforming how we enable the digital ecosystem so that consumers can find and buy Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars products at the right place and the right time.


Using your knowledge of e-commerce drivers and customer expectations, you will recommend and lead initiatives on how local market teams in EMEA can maximise retail listings and stock availability, initiate new business in underserved niches and platforms, and improve discoverability at scale through a transformation in product information content.


Responsibilities will include:


Identifying and analysing various business metrics such as sales, earned revenue, traffic, and conversion to plan, execute and assess business initiatives in conjunction with local market teams.
Providing deep dive analysis into the data and translating your findings into actionable project plans.
Developing and managing new business processes across multiple functional teams, including developing an end-to-end analytical framework to help the organisation interpret and take action on data.
Taking ownership for defining the list of high priority projects to ensure alignment of initiatives and the roadmap, manage new project intake, execute selected projects on time and with high quality standards, and effectively communicate projects progress within the organisation.

Basic Qualifications

  • A University Degree or equivalent work experience and B2C experience in e-commerce and/or consulting
  • Outstanding analytical skills and experience in planning and forecasting, data analysis and business modelling
  • Professional experience in an online, retail, e-commerce or a consulting environment
  • Proven project management skills with coordination across multiple teams
  • Proven use of supporting tools and systems to deliver business improvement
  • Passionate self-starter, decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas
  • Ability to problem-solve using creative thinking and innovation
  • Enthusiasm for online retailing and the willingness to quickly build up your knowledge in the consumer products sector

Preferred Qualifications

  • An MBA from a leading business school is beneficial
  • Experience in managing structured product data and product feeds for platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Google Shopping or price comparison sites
