Job Summary

To support the overall growth of The Walt Disney Travel Company Int. (WDTCI) by providing accurate financial services with focus on all three brands (Walt Disney World, Disneyland Paris and Disney Cruise Line) whilst ensuring maximum operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Within the scope of the role, ensure smooth running of the accounts payable (AP) function and accuracy of supplier invoices
  • Reconcile Disney Cruise Line (DCL) statements with WDTCI Diamond system and ensure accurate monthly payments and journal entries
  • Be a Casual Buyer for the WDTCI. Assist the team with all SAP related queries including tracking and fulfilment of all POs, investigating and responding to supplier queries
  • Responsible for updating FX files and keeping Marketing trackers for both DLP and WDW up to date with actuals
  • Support the team with bank reconciliations and assist with preparation of balance sheet reconciliation for deferred income
  • Assist the team with monthly and quarterly closing tasks, e.g. downloading P&L, updating COGs checks, ad-hoc reconciliations, etc.
  • Monitor pending banking entries within the reservations system and flag anomalies
  • Assist with management of affiliate vendor (raise POs, monitor forecasts, manage accurate reconciliation, invoicing and payments)
  • Prepare monthly trade partner statements and allocate payments to bookings within the reservations system
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis, as required by the team (for example, pricing or competitor analysis)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Accounts Payable and/or Receivable function
  • Experienced in the delivery of Guest services to high standard
  • SAP experience or equivalent
  • Travel industry experience
  • Working knowledge of double-entry transactions
  • High attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in deliverables
  • Strong communication skills
  • Computer literate in MS office package with strong Excel skills
  • Numerate and analytical with strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent organisational skills, with ability to prioritise workflow while managing a variety of tasks
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
  • Cultural sensitivity
