- This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.
The purpose of the role is to provide essential support to the Site Merchandising Manager UK/EU and the e-commerce team and to help manage the end-to-end process of product launches, manage the content and maintenance of the e-commerce sites.
The Opportunity & Responsibilities:
Produce analysis and actively participate in weekly trading meeting to review trade and plan ahead. Ensure that trading is at the forefront when planning pages and optimising the websites, taking into account differences in markets
Coordinate analysis from Content Square and RBI to produce actionable insights for homepages, landing pages, product listing pages and ‘Jewel’ campaigns
Work with Site Merchandising Manager, buying, and planning teams, on bundle and product set strategy, focusing on increasing AOV and revenue. Report on performance and support work on the following quarter’s strategy
Complete weekly website reviews and audits to ensure a high level of accuracy, consistency and relevancy across all sites. Produce weekly reports to show what has been actioned, what needs to be actioned and the plan for the coming month
With analysis from Content Square, review grid performance and filter performance on popular pages to ensure product placements are maximised across the site
Work with the Site Coordinator and digital marketing teams, execute site merchandise strategies, building and updating the taxonomy as the business requires with SEO and Guest experience in mind
Work with the brand and image team to help to deliver the creative briefing for site content including site refreshes, homepage, special projects, microsites, A/B tests, sales/promotions, and editorial content
Execute site checks across promotions, content, copy and images
Ensure products are ready for new film releases; character and specific product launch dates, merchandised within the correct categories, and commercially presented online
Coordinate with other departments to gather all necessary data for product to go live and coordinate across the team to ensure all stocked products are online in time and in full availability
Work with the Site Merchandising Manager and UX Lead to suggest improvements to the Guest experience by recognising and highlighting improvement opportunities across all aspects of the user journey and experience
The Experience We Require From You:
Proven experience as an Assistant Merchandiser, Merchandising Assistant, or Allocator/Distributor within an e-commerce retailer, essential
Experience within e-commerce, desirable
Understanding of retail merchandising and experience within a retail head office environment, essential
Demonstrable experience of successful collaboration across lines of business, building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders
Computer literate in MS office package with advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical, commercial and strategic approaches to problem solving
Flexibility for occasional travel may be required
Contribution to ad-hoc projects as the business requires
Flexible hours may be required to meet business needs
