Job Summary:

A new permanent opportunity to join our hugely talented and successful Consumer Products Marketing team as a Senior Manager. This role will focus on campaigns across our Toys and Fashion categories, leading a busy team of 3 experienced Managers.

The successful candidate will have cross category and/or retail channel experience, experience working on media campaigns and an understanding of performance marketing and e-commerce, as they will also manage the performance marketing manager.


The Sr Manager will lead the team to plan and execute long term and fiscal year marketing strategies and have overall responsibility of the UK market and the marketing management of existing and/or new retail accounts which fall within.
Lead the team in management of all relevant UK retail accounts, both e-comm and omnichannel. Using key trends and consumer insights, develop and drive succinct marketing strategies within Disney Consumer Products, Games & Publishing (CPGP), whilst being agile to capitalise on the moment and support commercial team on new opportunities and key accounts. Responsible for driving marketing specific retail execution (in-store POS, windows, digital, social, events, synergy opportunities) with key accounts, across all The Walt Disney Company franchises, on both cross-category and individual category initiatives (hardlines/softlines/FMCG). Responsible for the execution of global and regional signature marketing campaigns across UK retail, ensuring all accounts have a clear point of difference, as well as the development of bespoke UK campaigns where necessary. Relationships are key to the success of this role, both internally and externally. Actively manage the relationship with commercial leads and ensure they have the right marketing support to cultivate the engagement, partnership and joint business planning with key retailers, new and existing, to drive and deliver strategic growth in licensing sales on behalf of the EMEA business.

Basic Qualifications:

 Background in grocery and retail marketing, essential. Experience working on fashion and home marketing, beneficial
 Experience managing media campaigns and working with media agencies
 Basic performance marketing experience or understanding, beneficial
 A strong understanding of digital/social marketing and experience working with influencers
 Experience planning, executing and evaluating innovative marketing campaigns
 Experience of working, and thriving, in a large matrix organisation, beneficial
 Degree level education in a related field or equivalent work experience
 Proven experience of building effective relationships, leading and managing change and collaboration across departments to achieve financial targets and joint goals
 Proven experience of developing the performance of a team
 Proven experience of effectively managing budgets
