We are looking for a candidate to fill the exciting new vacancy of Site Merchandiser in the Online Buying and Merchandising Department. This role will work within the The Disney Store Europe (TDSE) line of business and is based in the Disney EMEA Head Offices in Hammersmith, London.
Manage the E-Commerce content calendar for each of our disneystore.xx sites. Ensure the planner is completed in a timely manner and all changes and updates are communicated to relevant stakeholders
Working with Brand and Image, manage creative briefs for site content including site refreshes, special projects, microsites, A/B tests, sales/promotions, editorial content
Complete weekly website reviews and audits to ensure a high level of accuracy, consistency and optimised performance across all sites
Manage the Guest experience by recognising improvement opportunities across all aspects of the user journey and experience
Proactively develop and maintain an effective working relationship with the US E-Commerce team and web production teams.
Produce ad-hoc and post event analysis of all site key activities, identifying actionable insights
Demonstrate ability to deputise for the Buying & Merchandising Director if needed
Proactively lead your team (if applicable) by example, with a focus on continuous process advancement
Contribute to maintaining and enhancing the standard of training and development being given so that everyone has the tools and resources to do their role effectively and efficiently
Drive awareness of E-Commerce within the wider business to identify opportunities for increasing synergy and maximising Online only opportunities
Proven experience as an Assistant Merchandiser within an omni-channel retailer, essential
Experience at Merchandiser level, desirable
Proven experience of building effective relationships, leading and managing change and collaboration across departments to achieve financial targets and joint goals
Experience of working Globally, beneficial
Highly numerate with excellent Excel skills
Exceptional planning and organisation skills
Strong influencing skills with the ability to achieve buy-in at all levels
Excellent analytical, commercial and strategic approaches to problem solving
