Job Summary:

The Website Production Manager is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations across all shopDisney websites.

Working with stakeholders across the organisation, this role requires someone who can bring together strong digital skills, operational experience and the ability to manage internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers. Due to the nature of the role and its responsibilities, flexibility in terms of hours will be necessary from time to time, including evening or weekend work. This role reports to the Senior Manager - Digital Product with strategic links to the Commercial and Marketing Teams. This role also has 2 direct reports, x2 Producer roles.


  • Ensure the operational efficiency of all SD websites
  • Manage and administer the Salesforce platform for SD
  • Monitor performance dashboards and triage if issues arise - looping in internal and external technical teams as required
  • Liaise with customer service and fulfilment teams across different areas of the organisation to identify and resolve issues
  • Provide the framework for the Content & Production Assistants to prepare and upload all new products for the SD shop platform
  • Provide main point of contact for third party service providers: meet regularly with account managers to discuss open issues and prioritise with the Digital Product Manager
  • Triage and investigate issues identified on websites, working with key internal users to understand and document problems, troubleshoot and fix where possible
  • Report issues to third-party development teams where required: providing bug reports and / or writing user stories as required
  • Test and approve fixes provided by internal and third-party development teams, including smoke testing and regression testing
  • Assist the Digital Product Manager in QA tasks as required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of functions of digital platforms (JIRA/Confluence/Salesforce Commerce Cloud/Adobe/Monday) and proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Work, PPT)
  • You like to identify projects with the greatest impact and have a track record of making a difference!
  • You have strong project management skills including conceptualization, driving alignment, planning resources, supervising objectives and test plans, and deriving learnings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication, critical thinking, and problem solving.
  • You possess a strong understanding of consumer mentality and consumer empathy
  • You take ownership, are an inventive problem-solver, and maintain a high level of accountability
  • You can collaborate well with others and thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment!
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role in an ecommerce environment
  • Previous site management experience within an e-commerce retail environment using Sales Force Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
  • Understanding of macros and data transformation
  • CSV/XML understanding
  • HTML working knowledge
