Job Summary:

FX is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the Executive Vice President of Development. Responsibilities include heavy scheduling, tracking and logging incoming material, and answering phones.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule meetings, answer phones, make travel arrangements and various other administrative tasks to support EVP, Development

  • Manage and evaluate incoming submissions of written and visual material and keep an accurate account of all materials that are submitted

  • Support the department and other executives as needed, this includes scheduling studio meetings, updating department records, and researching various properties and/or arenas to potentially develop into series

  • Serve as the liaison to other departments for information on series

  • Evaluate materials such as scripts, cuts, outlines, and submissions

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years previous work experience at a talent agency, production company studio or network with a solid grasp of the entertainment business preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Words, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Must be highly organized, demonstrate attention to detail, and be able to multitask and handle a high-stress and high-volume atmosphere

  • Able to manage and disseminate tasks punctually and properly

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Must be able to keep pace in an environment with frequently changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years previous work experience at a talent agency, production company studio or network

  • Knowledge and passion for entertainment and media

Required Education:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
