TTV Studios

The TTV Studios Finance and Planning team manages the overall planning for Twentieth Television and Twentieth Television Animation. The finance team provides critical financial support and analytics to the Twentieth Television and WDTV senior management teams as well as key business partners across the Walt Disney Company. 

Position Summary

The Manager, Finance (TTV Studios) will interface with Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution partners, Production Management, Production Finance, and Operational teams for TTV & TTV Animation Studios to best support their overall objectives.  This individual will build a deep knowledge of Twentieth Television Studios and be seen as a strong partner by the senior management team and across the broader WDTV finance organizations. The candidate will also support special projects on an ad-hoc basis.  The position requires excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills as well as an acute attention to detail. 

This position reports to the Vice President, TTV Finance.


  • Consolidation and analysis of Twentieth Television forecasts and annual operating plans
  • Review and analyze production cost detail for ultimate and cash flow forecasting/budgeting, including those with co-production financing arrangements
  • Correspondence with intercompany business units and 3rd party co-production partners for the purpose of communicating updates and analysis
  • Monthly & quarterly reporting of ultimates and APR rates including working with outside auditors
  • Assist with annual 5-year planning of p&l and cash flow
  • Perform economic and deal analysis to assist and support greenlighting and other production decisions
  • Stay informed and engaged in current landscape of the television industry including new trends in the marketplace
  • Management and review of work performed by an SFA level temp

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4+ years relevant work experience
    • Previous work experience in television or feature film FP&A is a plus
    • Public accounting experience is a plus
  • B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
    •  MBA and/or CPA preferred
  • Deliverable-focused, strong work ethic, able to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong technical skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with Hyperion, Peoplesoft, SAP is a plus
  • Organized and articulate with excellent written and verbal communication skills
