Job Summary:

FX is seeking a Manager of Social Media Moderation & Operations to lead community management and provide operational guidance and resources for the social media department. The Manager will lead social media moderation efforts, manage operational platforms, track activities across the team, and enable cross-functional workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Create work back plans and communicate project status and blockers.

  • Lead community management tasks across the social organization including implementation of moderation strategy, internal assignments, and managing vendors.

  • Manage licensed platform partners to ensure platforms are optimized and in compliance.

  • Train and share best practices on cross-functional tools with internal team, other FX departments, and external vendors and maintain training materials.

  • Manage overall department calendar including key milestones, events, content releases, and notable network anniversaries. Recommend project assignments based on workload.

Requirements:

  • 4-year college degree with a business focus preferred

  • 5+ years experience at a consumer-facing Internet, agency or entertainment company in interactive marketing or social media

  • Media or entertainment industry experience is a plus

  • Must be proactive, multifaceted, capable of working on concurrent complex projects, and able to communicate effectively to digital team members, vendors and executives

  • Strong writing skills and sound editorial judgment

  • Experience with budgeting and scope review from a product development perspective

  • Familiarity with social media licensed platforms such as Sprinklr, Hail To, Spredfast, Listen First and Nexgate, and project management software such as Monday.com

  • Strong understanding of web technologies and social media platforms

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, create project plans, and keep team members accountable
