Job Summary:
The Operations Associate actively guides projects and campaigns in support of The Walt Disney Company’s creative content and marketing organizations. This includes researching and sourcing media assets and coordinating production workflows. This role is integral to the marketing process and requires cross team collaboration, including creative, vendor, Business Standards & Practices, Legal, Post Production Finishing (FinalFX), Promo Scheduling, and Platform Distribution. It is a highly iterative, agile, high-volume deadline-driven hybrid process environment. The role supports significant cross department process reimagination and transformation, including stabilization, harmonization, and optimization. The role requires attention to detail, ability to pivot with last minute revisions, strong interpersonal communication, and willingness to embrace agile work methodology.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate requests from multiple departments, determine assets necessary, balance and prioritize stakeholder deliverables for multi-platform delivery, quickly, accurately and efficiently.
- Create Project Reports as designated by campaign strategy. Communicate information to in-house producers, Studio FX, outside vendors, Finishing Team, etc. Coordinating project from start of post-production to multi-platform delivery.
- QC files for accuracy, organize and track post deliverable assets and documentation. ie: Music License, Music Cues, & Promo archives
- Collaborate with Standards & Practices and Legal to communicate any potential issues to creative teams regarding campaigns or creative deliverables.
- Coordinate file requests, including uploading/downloading of files, complete automated file transcode/conversions, and distribute file as requested.
- Support cross department process reimagination and transformation, including process and system harmonization, optimization, and team building.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in on-air promo, post production or related television marketing field required.
- Word, Excel, Outlook and Web Applications a must. PC and Mac knowledge required.
- Knowledge of on-air promotions, post-production, and file deliveries required.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work well in a collaborative team environment and possess strong customer service skills.
- Good organizational, time management and prioritization skills are necessary. Must be extremely detail oriented, and have the ability to multitask, effectively coordinate changing priorities, and handle tight deadlines.
- Must thrive on working in an intense, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Must be able to carry tapes and equipment, and be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
