Job Summary:

The Part-Time Post Production Coordinator will play a vital role in assisting the Director of Post Production and the Creative Marketing Team with tracking and scheduling of post production resources for the Primetime, Daytime, and Late Night promotion for DGE’s ABC Marketing Department. Those resources include coordinating shifts for craft and finishing personnel along with edit/audio facilities. In addition, the Coordinator will work closely with Production, Creative, Design and DMED Operations to facilitate their post production project priorities.


  • Attends production meetings to determine key post production milestones and deliverables
  • Sets up post production wrap meetings to review project deadlines with Creative and Strategy
  • Documents and tracks original shoot projects internally and with external vendors including distribution of post production calendar
  • Oversees the High End Finishing Room Schedule
  • Works closely with the Director of Finishing and our Creative team to determine needs for high end color correction
  • Schedules edit time and alerts DMED Operations of upcoming projects
  • Troubleshoots scheduling conflicts and facilitates additional resource requests for editorial requirements
  • Works closely with our Integrations & Special Projects team and Publicity group for post production needs
  • Updates and posts craft and finishing personnel schedules
  • Coordinates post production personnel requests for training, work events, compliance training, conferences, etc…
  • Tracks part time & freelance employees hours and future availability
  • Coordinates weekend scheduling of post production personnel with Tech Services.
  • Assists Management & Creative with overtime requests & approvals
  • Assists Management with onboarding new hires, login setup, review of post production process/applications, and coordination of workflow training
  • Will work closely with Director Post Production to assist as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years scheduling and/or experience in post production environment is required.
  • Must be detail oriented and a highly organized individual.
  • Knowledge of scheduling software (Xytech MediaPulse) and Excel proficiency preferred.
  • Able to multi-task and work well under pressure and with deadlines.
  • Live in commutable distance to Burbank Ca.

Preferred Education

  • High school degree required and two years college education preferred
