Job Summary:

The Walt Disney Company's Media & Entertainment Distribution (DMED) is a new, global business segment for The Walt Disney Company that is responsible for all monetization of content—both distribution and ad sales—and oversees the operations of the Company’s streaming services, including Disney+ (including Star and Disney+ Hotstar internationally), Hulu, and ESPN+ and domestic broadcast and cable television networks. DMED brings together the Company’s best-in-class product, technology, and commercialization teams together into one global organization, with the goal of expanding the footprint of Disney’s world-class content and beloved brands and delivering highly personalized entertainment experiences to diverse consumers around the world. DMED works in close collaboration with Disney’s Studio, General Entertainment, and Sports content creation teams on programming and marketing for the streaming services and networks.

The Revenue Growth team identifies, evaluates, and implements strategic initiatives to drive incremental advertising revenue for Disney’s portfolio of brands across all linear and digital ad formats for ABC, Hulu, ESPN, FX, National Geographic, Freeform, Disney Channel, among others. The team focuses on cross-functional projects that will best position TWDC for long-term success in today’s rapidly changing media and advertising landscape.

As a key pillar of the Ad Sales Finance organization, the Revenue Growth team acts as a conduit across Disney's portfolio of brands to plan and execute growth-focused projects. By collaborating with key stakeholders, the team's primary objective is to identify new revenue channels and enhance existing ones through commercial and data partnerships, advanced advertising products, and strategic alignment across sales, operations, and finance.

The DMED business is seeking a Senior Analyst to directly support a broad range of strategic initiatives with an emphasis on digital advertising. Projects may include: evaluating the financial impact of new advertising products and capabilities, creating proforma financial models to evaluate commercial partnership deal terms, collaborating with multiple operational groups to align processes and reporting with DMED’s go-forward strategy, and completing secondary market research for competitive landscape analyses. This role will be instrumental in informing the long-range roadmap for TWDC’s digital advertising strategy and will work cross-functionally across multiple internal teams, including finance, product, technology, and sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Create ad hoc financial models and analyses to support decision making and strategic initiatives.
  • Complete market research and track industry trends.
  • Closely manage projects from beginning to end; manage day-to-day communication and provide updates to leadership team, identify key issues and manage data gathering.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional experience with a background in management consulting, investment banking, strategic planning, or business operations.
  • Advanced technical skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in financial modeling.
  • Strong analytic mindset, ability to structure projects and handle ambiguous data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field of study.
