- This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.

Job Summary:

TV Productions – Preparation of billing, adjustments, and supporting scheduled related to contractual and reimbursable agreements.


  • Manage billing functions, including organization of billing packages related to TCFTV Network and Productions, including of TCFTV third party customers and miscellaneous customers.
    • From inception, ensure all agreements and cost support, along with budgets, are received and reviewed prior to billing.
    • Review costs for validity to keep audit disallowances to a minimum and ensure weekly billing is in accordance with contractual obligations and negotiated agreements.
    • Prepare, distribute and maintain weekly invoicing and corresponding Aging reports.
    • Research and analyze billed and unbilled Accounts Receivables.
  • Manage and analyze the tracking of TCFTV Network Rerun activity.
    • Review and prepare the calculation of residual billings related to reruns.
    • Review and prepare Air Date schedules to ensure all residuals are properly billed.
    • Review and prepare billings excess costs related to 3rd runs.
    • Ensure proper input of Air Dates within the MAGGIE system.
  • Manage Production Schedules in the system, ensuring schedules are received timely from Post Production and agreed to.
  • Engage and communicate with Network Auditors to detail processes, schedules, and ensure alignment within the contractual parameters agreed upon.
    • Review Participation groups for Deficit schedules.
    • Review Network Audit work-papers for accuracy, adherence to contract terms and industry practices.
    • Research disallowed items from Networks and prepare TCFT Counter Arguments.
    • Coordinate and communicate with Business Affairs.
    • Manage negotiated results and reviews from audits.
  • Manage the analysis and reconciliation of cash collections applied to customers, including resolution of disputes related to payments.
  • Work with System IT business partners, ensuring all systems are fully operational.
    • Engage with system transitions, including knowledge transfer and testing.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience required.
  • 5+ years TV Production Experience
  • Knowledge of business systems is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of production accounting, participations, and residuals
  • Management courses relative to effective employee engagement (e.g. coaching for success, motivating team members, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance of Business Admin.

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • TV Production experience with a large company with a large customer base
  • Ability to conduct business presentations
  • Broad knowledge of various business models across a multitude of industries is desired
