TCFTV Studios

The TCFTV Studios Finance and Planning team manages the overall planning for Twentieth Century Fox Television and Fox 21 Television Studios. The finance team provides critical financial support and analytics to the TCFTV & F21TVS Studios and WDTV senior management teams as well as key business partners across the Walt Disney Company. 

Position Summary

The Sr. Manager, Finance (TCFTV Studios) will interface with Domestic and International Distribution partners, Production Management, Production Finance, and Operational teams for TCFTV & F21TVS Studios to best support their overall objectives.  This individual will build a deep knowledge of TCFTV & F21TVS Studios and be seen as a strong partner by the Executive management team and across the broader WDTV finance organizations. The candidate will also support special projects on an ad-hoc basis.  The position requires excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills as well as an acute attention to detail. 

This position reports to the Vice President, TCFTV Finance.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial review, consolidation and analysis of TCFTV and F21TVS forecasts and annual operating plans
  • Review and analyze ultimates for television series, including those with co-production financing arrangements
  • Monthly & quarterly reporting of ultimates including working with outside auditors
  • Assist with annual 5-year planning of p&l and cash flow
  • Review and perform economic analyses to assist and support greenlighting and other production decisions
  • Support team with financial deal terms analysis to improve decision making and profitability
  • Prepare presentations and ad hoc analyses for senior management
  • Stay informed and engaged in current landscape of the television industry including new trends in the marketplace
  • Manage a professional staff of 1 to 3 people, includes supporting the FP&A team to help to resolve issues, offer oversight, motivation and direction of team goals and objectives

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8+ years relevant work experience
    • Previous work experience in television or feature film FP&A is a plus
    • Public accounting experience is a plus
  • B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
    •  MBA and/or CPA preferred
  • Deliverable-focused, strong work ethic, able to prioritize and resolve an array of issues simultaneously
  • Ability to lead and develop a team
  • Strong technical skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with Hyperion, Peoplesoft, SAP is a plus
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
