Main job responsibilities

  • Manage assigned shows as Production Finance point person. Responsibilities include: set-up of show accounting systems, bank accounts, project numbers, and Cashet, communicate to show Accounting staff on all 20th TV policies and procedures, setup downloads weekly, reconcile uploads and downloads between systems, research and provide necessary backup for downloads.
  • Review talent contracts and prepare certain ATL payment schedules. Monitor ATL payments throughout production ensuring accurate payments and coding.
  • Review hot costs and cost reports for accuracy and to assist in identifying discrepancies with costs or areas of concern.
  • Analyze the trial balance weekly for accuracy and notify of any discrepancies.
  • Prepare journal entries as needed.
  • Perform show audits of payroll, AP, and assets.  Report findings to management.
  • Assists with wrapping shows when Production Accountants finish.
  • Oversees bank statement reconciliations with show accountants
  • Assembles and reviews participation reports
  • Acts as prepping accountant prior to Production Accountant being hired – which includes process payroll, entering petty cash and p-card statements, performing weekly close
  • Additional cost analysis projects as needed


  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience at the show level, preferably as a 1st Assistant Accountant
  • Must be detail oriented and organized.  Proficient in Peoplesoft, Vista, PSL, EP Budgeting, and Excel.
  • Ability to understand and analyze budgets/cost reports
  • Analytical skills a must.  Prior reporting experience a plus.
