JOB DESCRIPTION

Implements assigned aspects of the finance function. The finance function develops budgets and forecasts for client business unit. Monitors costs against budget, reports on variances and provides updated forecasts and models. Supports client groups in planning and decision making with financial and scenario modeling. Develops financial models for new ventures. Codifies and tracks costs against budgets. Prepares variance analyses and reports. Builds financial models. SCOPE: Implements activities that impact important components / processes of the work of own unit / team / projects. Typically assigned to important / complicated undertakings. Typically assigned a lead, or major, role on new and innovative projects and initiatives. KNOWLEDGE / PROBLEM SOLVING: Demonstrates proficiency in most areas of the professional function and in-depth specialization in some. Anticipates and prevents problems and roadblocks before they occur. NEGOTIATIONS / INTERACTIONS: Interacts with internal and external peers and/or managers to exchange complex information related to areas of specialization. ASSIGNMENT OF WORK: Receives work in the form of short- and mid-term assignments that regularly require the application of independent judgment. Mentors less experienced members of the team. OVERSIGHT RECEIVED: Work is subject to regular supervisory review at defined milestones. EXPERIENCE: Typically has 5 or more years of progressively complex related experience.
