The Senior/Writer Producer will be responsible for leading and guiding the creative execution of 360 marketing campaigns for series, stunts, specials, etc. In addition, he/she will develop and produce promotional content for show launches, sustaining series, image campaigns, special events, and all creative tactics which increase viewer retention; ensuring strategy, message, and branding are on target. While the job focuses on creativity, the position also requires strong leadership and project management skills. Must be able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Must possess the ability to problem solve and work well with peers and all levels of management. The Senior Writer/Producer must be a proactive resource of ideas. Superior writing skills are a must, as is the ability to sell ideas to management. Passion and hard work are embraced and supported throughout the department.


  • Serve as lead creative on network priorities including, but not limited to launch campaigns, sustaining series tactics, upfront presentations, and original shoots.
  • Collaborate with programming, production, and show producers.
  • Initiate creative development and experimentation
  • Provide mentorship to less experienced members of the team
  • Oversee the creative executed by vendors
  • Work closely with all key partners such as strategy, digital, design teams etc. in the development of marketing campaigns

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience writing and producing marketing content.
  • Strong creative background in Broadcast TV, cable, and/or streaming services a must.
  • Comfortable directing on-air talent and original shoots
  • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere desktop editing systems
  • Demonstrated success leading creative teams to successful creation of Marketing and other short-form content
  • Superior writing skills.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong visual sense
  • Ability to multi-task, creatively problem solve, and work well under pressure.
  • Understand all phases of pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • Experience producing content for digital platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube etc.)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Organize and manage multiple creative projects at a time
  • Self-starter, takes initiative, experiments, innovates
  • Strongly focused, energetic and optimistic
  • Collaborative team player

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of work experience

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Television/Film/Creative Writing
