Job Summary:

In the context of a multi-year ERP migration project, you will reinforce the Consolidation and Master Data Management team in the supervision of the current activity in order to allow the current supervisor to be significantly involved in the management of the migration project. You will work under the supervision of the Corporate Controllership Manager and in collaboration with the existing supervisor (seconded part-time to the project).

Our team consists of a senior analyst (the supervisor), a consolidator and 2 accountants.

Mission of the financial analyst (supervisor):

You will supervise the team in place (1 consolidator and 2 accountants) in their daily activities, with the punctual support of the supervisor in place (seconded part time on the project)

You will progressively take charge of the supervision of the monthly consolidation of the Disneyland Paris Group in USGAAP standards and its transmission to the Disney Parks Experiences and Products consolidation sub-tier in Florida (simple consolidation: 5 local companies managed under SAP and integrated at 100% + some companies accounted for by the equity method)

You will be responsible for the maintenance of the SAP and analytical repository by relying on the existing team.

You will be able to work on a wide range of accounting issues in partnership with the transactional and general accounting departments, as well as with the management controllers and IT. You will play an expert role on the subjects entrusted to you and you will constantly deepen your knowledge in a proactive manner. You will participate in the financial analysis and control of the balance sheet or income statement and help ensure the consistency and accuracy of the figures in your area.

The supervisor in place will assist you on specific sensitive subjects, as well as the 3 employees of the Consolidation and Reporting group on the current activity.

You may also be called upon to provide occasional support on the ERP migration project.

Main tasks:

- Co-supervision of the existing team (3 people)
- Coordination and follow-up of the accounting and IT closing schedule with the different internal and US partners.
- Control and validation of the consolidation and analytical closing process by ensuring compliance with standards and procedures with an active role in the production of certain deliverables.
- Control of the consolidation balance and certain reports before transmission to TWDC.
- Follow-up of changes in the consolidation group's scope of consolidation.
- Participation in the preparation and execution of budgets in SAP.
- Ensures the integrity of the database and the reliability of the analytical data, by respecting the procedures in force.
- Implementing projects to improve systems, processes or to harmonize practices with those of TWDC.


Ideally, you have a 5-year degree in finance/accounting or have significant experience in accounting/finance with a first experience in an accounting or auditing firm.

During your career, you have acquired experience in US GAAP accounting rules (or possibly IFRS).

Very good level of English (level C1 or higher)

Mastery of current IT tools (Word/Excel at advanced level + collaborative tools Teams/Zoom), SAP ECC and BCS. Knowledge of SAP BW and Longview will be an asset.

Strong analytical skills, rigorous work methodology and a curious mind.
