Job Summary:

For its upcoming reopening, Disney's Hotel New York® - The Art of Marvel will reflect the contemporary luxury establishments that are typical of Manhattan. Composed of art galleries showcasing the Marvel collection, Disney's Hotel New York® - The Art of Marvel will evoke the contemporary sophistication of the city, the setting for the exciting adventures of the Super Heroes Marvel and the artists who created them.

In close collaboration with the Governor General, the experienced Floor Governor occupies a key position in the proper functioning of the hotel: guarantor of the comfort of visitors, he/she must ensure the cleanliness, safety and good general condition of the establishment and its outbuildings.
At the head of a team of around 40 people, he/she contributes to developing the hotel's quality and brand image while controlling the costs of its service, the services provided by service providers, compliance with the specifications on the floors as well as in public places and guaranteeing a good social climate within its department.


  • Team supervision and leadership: organize, distribute and monitor the team's work through a field presence and ongoing dialogue
  • Implement the necessary actions to ensure financial results, service and product quality, customer satisfaction at all times and make operational decisions in the absence of the manager
  • Evaluate the action and performance of employees, promote their professional development and motivation
  • Ensure compliance with all operational procedures and health and safety rules.
  • Participate in projects and activities within your department

Basic Qualifications:

  • You have 5 years' experience in management, including 2 years in floor service
  • You have a minimum of 3-star hotel experience
  • You ideally have a Government BP
  • French level C1 (Advanced) and English level B1 (intermediate)
  • Experience in managing subcontractors in a hotel environment
  • Structured and dynamic
  • Autonomous, flexible and a good listener
  • Flexible working hours are necessary to ensure the smooth running of operations
