By joining the Corporate Communication Department, you will participate in building the visibility of an international brand with a high reputation at stake.

The Issues Management, Crisis & Communications Senior Manager is a strategic and tactical role, responsible for helping to shape the reputation of Disneyland Paris among several key audiences including Guests, local Val d’Europe residents, third-party influencers and local opinion leaders, by working closely with key DLP leaders to anticipate trends and issues that will impact the business and implement communication strategies to mitigate.

Your missions?

  • Build a communication strategy to address issues and respond to crisis in France and in Europe.

  • Anticipate, manage and develop communication plans to ultimately mitigate or resolve issues that could pose a threat to the company’s reputation and role in the region.

  • Develop and lead internal, ad hoc, cross functional teams to manage issues and further raise the perception of DLP’s reputation including tactics such as developing long and short-term communications plans, informing key external and internal stakeholders, potentially finding and implementing new business practices, utilizing research to help identify emerging trends, and partnering with third-party and industry experts to stay up to date on consumer and stakeholder expectations.

  • Manage crisis situation from the description of the situation, the recommended communication approach, messaging production, management of media and monitoring/recap.

  • Build reputation for the Company by leveraging Corporate themes such as Environment, citizenship, contribution, Human resources and innovation, in France and in Europe.

  • Manage projects in their entirety, from the definition of the communication plan, the preparation of language elements to the relation with media.

  • Manage up to 3 direct reports.

  • Work closely with the resort’s public affairs and communications leadership

The keys to your success?

  • Ideally You have 5-year degree in public policy, business, political science or communication and minimum 10 years work experience within a large international company, based in France, in either corporate communications, public affairs, Corporate Social Responsibility or governmental type work.

  • You have proven strong organizational and management skills and track record of successful Corporate Social Responsibility programs, issues management and corporate communication plans.

  • You have ability to identify, engage with, influence and manage multiple internal and external stakeholders as well as an immediate team.

  • You have strong understanding of social media and how it is used by stakeholder groups and businesses.

  • You have fluent French and English level (C1). Excellent written communications skills; excellent verbal skills, including public speaking, meeting facilitation and presentations.

  • Experience within the travel and tourism industry and its role in France / Europe is appreciated.
