We are hiring a Category Coordinator on a permanent basis who will work to drive the consumer products licensing business by supporting the Hardlines category managers with day-to-day management of key business processes. The successful candidate will provide excellent organisational skills and stakeholder management experience.
Coordinate contract administration including briefing new deals, renewals, amendments, extensions and distribution permissions
Keep contract status log up-to-date and update commercial managers weekly
Manage contract lifecycle by working with all key stakeholders (licensees, category managers, contract admin team and legal/finance)
Proactively improve processes to streamline and simplify contract lifecycle management
Finance – Forecasting & Reporting
Ensure royalty reports received on-time from all licensees each quarter and manage accurate and timely processing and posting
Update accrual analysis spreadsheet and inform commercial managers of any fluctuations
Obtain accrual and forecast figures from licensees on a quarterly basis
INvision data entry and report generation where required
Raise PO requests for marketing initiatives and manage process to ensure timely payment of invoices
Proactively improve processes to streamline and simplify the financial milestone cycle
Personal Assistance for Category Team
Book couriers, prepare packages for postage, etc.
Schedule team and internal meetings
Maintain email database for internal and external communications and attendee lists
Maintain Retail Brand Development & Franchise Decks and New Business Pitch Decks
Maintain product bible documents by franchise
General duties on an ad hoc basis
Tertiary qualifications in a business discipline would be an advantage
2+ years administrative experience role
Some financial experience with relation to royalty reporting/forecasting
Good communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office
Excellent attention to detail
Time management and organisation
Ability to build good relationships both internally and externally
Ability to work as part of a team
