Job Summary:

The Walt DIsney Company is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Intern to join our Programming Team in Milan.
Disney+ is an SVOD (Subscription Video On Demand) service that gives the whole family access to the biggest collection of Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, National Geographic and non-branded (‘Star’) content all in one place. Designed to be enjoyed at home or on-the-go as an iOS or Android app for tablet, mobile and smart TVs, it allows fans to explore all of Disney’s stories and characters.


This is an exciting opportunity as part of a strategic priority for the Company and growing digital subscription business, forming the future of the direct to consumer experience, which will engage guests of all ages.

The Disney+ Programming Intern will have to support the programming team in the day-by-day activities. Reporting into the Programming Senior Manager, the programming intern will help the team to guarantee the subscriber the best of the experiences. He/she will be involved in reviewing the content that is going to be launched in the platform and will support the team throughout the different stages of the building of our editorial calendar, the main output of our programming department, the basic tool for the work of all the other departments.

Responsibilities:

- Support on the definition of the content roadmap
- Work on the presentation of our editorial schedules
- EU quota calculation
- Content release check on the Disney+ app
- Synopsis review
- Support the compliance manager to assign ratings to the titles in the platform

Basic Qualifications:

- Degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (both in Italian and English)
- Good working knowledge of MS office (especially MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint)
- Ability to work independently and to take initiative to accomplish assigned tasks accurately and by
established deadlines.
- Curiosity and passion about the content
