Disney Advertising Sales portfolio for Kids drives the advertising revenue across platforms for the entire media portfolio which comprises of Disney Channel, Hungama TV, Disney Junior, Marvel HQ & Disney International HD

This role is for Sr. Executive/Asst. Manager who will handle the Disney Kids Network. Along with TV, Disney has a strong presence on the digital platforms. The candidate will get an opportunity to sell Live Action impact tentpoles across TV as well as digital. With access to an envious roster of IPs and franchises, our partnership portfolio covers every brand within The Walt Disney Company: Disney, Disney Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm & Fox Star and entails the candidate to sell our franchises across these brands namely – Mickey & Friends, Toy story, Cars, Frozen, Ironman, Thor ,Captain America, Spiderman & many more. The candidate should have the requisite skill set for television media sales & preferably digital with good communication skills, responsible for achieving the set targets on a given client base & maximise revenues for West region on Disney Kids network.

Responsibilities:

Areas of Responsibility:
  • Account Management of a client base ensuring that the client’s brand needs are catered for and that they are happy with the service & response which helps to build & maximize sales revenue.
  • To achieve the set targets by persuading clients/agencies to buy advertising time on our TV network. Detail oriented and comfortable working under tight deadlines.
  • Finding out who controls the advertising budget in target organization and engaging with them on regular basis.
  • Consultative selling - Understanding of the different objectives that a partner might have and the ability to design campaigns to meet those.
  • Explaining the benefits of the medium, using statistics on readership or viewing figures.
  • Good understanding of media landscape and the platforms encapsulated within this space
  • Strong multifaceted deal negotiation skills
  • Closing the deal and recording the details.
  • Monitoring inventory & revenue reports on regular basis.
  • Maximizing revenue through impact properties on Television & Digital.
  • Developing in-depth understanding of the market place, tracking competition including regular analysis of competitor analysis.
  • Regularly shares industry trends, insights, competitive developments and new launches with internal stakeholders to enhance organizational expertise
  • Keeping accurate records of sales, contacts & deals.
Timely delivery of all reports.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience and Qualifications required :
Experience : 8-11 years in Media Sales preferably from TV/Digital Media Sales.
Professional Qualifications- Graduate/Post-Graduate.
