  • Develop & execute Pan-India/Market-wise campaigns with Major Operators (~ 25 Operators per quarter) aimed at driving subscriber and revenue growth. (Multiple campaigns per operator)
  • Maintain regular stream of communications (through customized creatives) with LCOs/trade in different markets aimed at retaining consumers by keeping them informed about our upcoming properties
  • Execute the approved Communication framework, based on end buyer understanding
  • Plan and own execution of the communication calendar
  • Drive awareness through unique creative solves like Monthly Newsletter Spotlight, branding, event based customized promos, OBDs & statics with CTA
  • Provide high visibility to affiliates using joint marketing initiatives
  • Drive Subscriber Growth Initiatives:
    • Drive quarter on quarter plans to drive retention / growth with at least top 25 top affiliates
    • Creative Solves for business issues like DA, Star Sports uptake, HD upsell ,etc
  • Engage with cut through marketing initiatives which makes Disney-Star Network the most preferred and recommended broadcaster amongst trade
    • Events/ Festival driven unique and differentiated messages and merchandise across affiliate categories
    • Aperture marketing – Celebrate festivities, birthday, anniversary, Major events and days
    • Creative platforms for Digital & On-ground affiliate connect – Celebrity meet & greet, Movie Screenings, 
    • Big Shout out loud for efforts of Trade through Promos & Static (appreciation notes & Plaques)
  • Vendor & Agency (Creative & Execution) management
  • Collaboration across channel teams, support functions & departments such as commercial, finance, etc


  • Achievement of the assigned target and timely execution for trade marketing metrics like activation events, promotional drives, etc.
  • Increase in Awareness and Consideration for Disney-Star Channels due to the marketing efforts
  • Increase in NPS scores
  • Number of innovations executed to help create ground buzz
  • Accuracy in brief and execution
  • Cost efficiency brought in
  • Quantum of creative and its efficacy


  • MBA with 2-3 years of trade marketing/activations experience


  • Strong execution and monitoring skills
  • Excellent written communication, excel & presentation designing skills
  • Demonstrated  creative abilities around activations and events
  • Understanding of marketing and brand communication theories and practices
  • Creative designing & visualization needs to be excellent
  • Excellent Vendor management skills.
  • Event management skills


  • Ability to identify opportunities and effectively convince stake holders on ideas
  • Ability to roll up sleeves, work with people and get execution.
  • Ability to manage multiple scenarios and adhere to tight deadlines
  • Ability to manage ambiguity
  • Needs to be focused towards task
