Job Summary:

Overall Purpose of the role:

This is a high impact role at DCP India. The DCP business in India is now 10+ years old - and has been growing significantly year on year since its launch. Ecommerce is a key growth driver plus given the market landscape and the current Disney context - online channel will only continue to increase in importance for DCP in India
The broad outlines of this role are as follows:
  • Lead relationships with ecommerce channel partners and Disney Licensees with aim to build digital first business propositions
  • End to end account management of the e-Commerce channel partners
  • Drive business growth on e-Commerce channel
  • Stakeholder Management – Category Teams, Licensing partners, Design teams


Areas of Responsibility:
Strategic Management
  • Manage and improve Disney, Marvel and Star Wars 3P offerings on key ecommerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, FirstCry, Myntra, etc.
    • Establish a uniform Disney standard of cataloguing, content creation, product attributes listing and tagging
    • Plan and execute ROI led marketing initiatives to drive visibility
    • Liaison with marketplace category and central marketing teams to improve participation in on-platform events as well as launch Disney specific campaigns
  • Expand touchpoints and actively collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders be it category or marketing teams in Disney or across different platforms as well as new and existing marketplace licensees
  • Build a functional roadmap to fix important gaps and increase product penetration in major categories (while understanding selection requirements and price expectations)
  • Continually identify opportunities and create a viable business to service marketplace demands, own P&L responsibility for this segment
    • Build and manage a portfolio of ecommerce first licensees with focus on marketplaces as channel of sales
    • Enable offline to online transition of key partners
  • Setup reporting and communication channels to track cross category and franchise sales across platforms
  • Accelerate the go to market of Disney Franchises within private labels across a range of categories on Amazon and Flipkart
  • Stay on top of trends in an ever-changing ecommerce landscape, as well as be able to manage business priorities
  • Develop, implement and achieve yearly revenue targets (Retail sales and royalty revenue) for responsible set of ecommerce licensees and retailers
  • Work closely with ecommerce first licensees across all aspects of online distribution, promotions, pricing, product development, and sourcing
  • Ensure that the business is conducted as per compliances laid down by The Walt Disney Company

Basic Qualifications:

Number of years of Experience, Qualifications :
  • Overall 4+ years of experience working in a dynamic high performing environment, with strong emphasis on key account management, sales and business development
  • Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Marketing/Sales from a reputed Institute
  • 2 – 3 years of e-Commerce experience preferred, either in an online retail platform or consumer products company
