  • Building viewership (awareness, intention to watch) for the portfolio through disruptive and innovative communication strategy and marketing plans. This involves:
  • Developing actionable insights into effective Marketing communication plans
  • Leading diverse and multi-functional project teams to manage the end to end delivery of marketing plans for the different properties in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Developing breakthrough campaigns maximizing the brand awareness for the portfolio
  • Working closely with Internal & External partners:  agencies, media planners and media partners (Radio/Print/TV channels), research agencies, activation agencies, social and digital agencies
  • Developing 360 degree digital and communication plans through collaboration with key stakeholders: Ad-sales teams, sales, key advertisers and the internal corporate communications team
  • Collaboration & liaison with leagues and government bodies
  • Partnering with Internal & External partners to increase the revenues for SELECT:
  • Partnering with content team to improve reach and viewership of non-live content
  • Partnering with distribution team to establish the SELECT channel proposition and the bouquet of offerings to increase channel footprint
  • Partnering with customer marketing and ad sales team to unlock higher value for key advertisers and improving the affinity with current viewers
  • Planning and deploying budgets in
  • Paid media and Star owned media for large impact properties
  • Digital and social media for impact properties
  • On-ground activations with clear and defined goals


  • Min 6+ years of marketing and brand management experience; driving ATL/BTL plans for a large brand which has created a considerable impact
  • Post Graduate in Marketing from top tier B school (preferably from 2012-14 batch)


  • Exposure to planning and strategy for on-air & off-air promotion; running digital campaigns and conducting events
  • High data orientation and proven excellence in developing insights through data mining and conceptualization of relevant marketing/innovation plans
  • Experience in managing an end-to-end TVC creation and delivering campaign creatives
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Experience in building a category and constantly strengthened its position
  • Excellent project management skills to ensure timely delivery and completion of projects


  • Improved revenue realization for the portfolio
  • Reach / viewership growth for sporting events
  • TVR improvement of impact properties
  • Sustainable improvement in Awareness% for each of the properties
