Disney+ Hotstar is challenging the old media buying practices by altering the digital advertising landscape completely. The incumbent will be responsible for formulating Disney+ Hotstar’s Sports ad sales proposition on back of external market intelligence and internal user growth and product/ content innovations and take charge of revenue management across all sports properties on the platform.


  • Develop Disney+ Hotstar’s Sports proposition
  • Determinethepricingstrategyandclientofferingacrosssportstournamentsinlinewithproduct and content innovations available.
  • Build a media planning framework for each event and create customized solutions for key advertisers to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Take charge of long-term deals: work with sales and entertainment strategy teams to propose joint solutions that meet the client’s needs.

  • Run PMO for revenue management
  • End to end revenue management to achieve revenue and yield targets across tournaments.
  • Lead engagement with sales team to manage sales pipeline.
  • Own yield management.
  • Manage sell through rate and inventory availability.
  • Drive client delivery with ad operations team.

  • Strategic outlook to the business
  • Annual sales budgeting, target setting for sales teams as well as estimating revenue potential for sporting right available for bidding.
  • Constantly review current ways of working taking insights from the market as well as platform’s position to improve our offering in the market.
  • Strive to improve our current approach and tools for managing demand & delivery.

  • Collaboration
  • Effectively collaborate with different sales strategy teams (Ad Tech, Ad Ops and Brand solutions), front line sales team and other Disney+ Hotstar teams (Product, Content etc.) to develop solutions.


  • Total experience of 6-7 years, out of which 3-4 years of strategy consulting experience will be preferred. Looking for candidates from top tier consulting firms background.
  • Structured problem solver - Ability to develop solutions in an ambiguous environment.
  • Strong in analytics with a high comfort around excel modelling.
  • Should have worked in inter team and intra team collaborative roles.
