Job Summary:

Overall Purpose of the Role:
The candidate will work closely with the Director & Head of Games, South APAC and MENA, in managing and growing the core games business in India and MENA across platforms, primarily on mobile. The position has the responsibility of driving and executing the local games strategy (in alignment with the regional strategy) as well as driving maximum revenue and engagement for each priority title within the territory. This position will involve strategy development, business development, account management and marketing.

Responsibilities:

Areas of Responsibility:
  • STRATEGY
    • Working closely with the regional team, develop AOP and 5YP process specific for India and MENA.
    • Formulate and implement a partner penetration, management and growth plan that maximizes local revenues for core games.
    • Collecting and analyzing all relevant data to be presented regularly to management.
  • BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT / SALES
    • Drive revenue growth across IN and MENA
    • Development and implementation of our local games strategy.
    • In partnership with the regional team, develop long term partnership with the assigned partners for the benefit of both companies.
    • Plan, execute and lead day to day communication between our clients and Disney.
    • Direct cooperation with internal and external partners across the region leading to increased revenues and awareness for all Disney, Marvel and Star Wars games. Such partners include:
      • ICC
      • Apple and Google
      • Mobile carriers
      • Marketing agencies
      • xLOBs – Studio, Licensing, DTCI, Media
    • Development and maintenance of partner dashboard.
    • Contribute to review of sales processes, templates and procedures.
  • MARKETING
    • Coordinate with regional marketing team for regional and local campaigns.
    • Prepare pricing models and analysis for offers and co-promotional campaigns.
    • Prepare all necessary documents, legal requirements and brand approvals for marketing campaigns.
  • PRODUCT
    • Review titles launching in India and MENA and provide inputs for optimization.
    • Ensure product development efforts are focused on meeting the existing and future needs of the customer.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience and Professional Qualifications required:
  • Demonstrable experience and success of managing full priority account operations.
  • Demonstrable experience and managing liaising with C-level executives from Fortune 500 companies.
  • Strong and recent demonstrable experience on communication, presentation, planning and management.
  • Well-versed in MS Office, especially PPT, DOC and XLS as well as Keynote.
  • At least 3 years of proven experience on similar position in mobile/gaming industry;
  • In-depth knowledge of the mobile/gaming industry and its competitive background;
  • Understanding of mobile/game development processes, pipelines, workflows and tools;
  • Direct contacts and experience in cooperation with global app stores, OEMs and carriers
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Proactive and independent personality with strong planning and organizational skills
  • Problem solving orientation
  • Easily adjusting to changing environment/Fast learner
  • Experience with AAA titles will be a plus
  • Speaking Arabic a plus
  • Ability to work well in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience of managing a diverse set of stakeholders.

Required Education

Experience and Professional Qualifications Required:
  • At least 3 years of proven experience and success on a similar position in mobile/gaming industry, Overall experience around 8 to 10 years.
  • Demonstrable experience and success of managing accounts and driving revenues.
  • Knowledgeable of the mobile/gaming industry and its competitive background.
  • Good understanding of mobile/game development processes, pipelines, workflows and tools.
  • Demonstrable experience on developing and managing account management and growth plans.
  • Very good computer skills (especially MS Excel).
  • Experience of managing a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Able to speak Arabic a plus.
