JOB DESCRIPTION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with business teams to understand business issues and opportunities; helps uncover key business questions and develops consumer research plans to address them
  • Align research to business objectives.
  • Manage consumer research and business analysis projects for Sports in a cost and time efficient manner using most appropriate tools
  • Hands-on with marketing research techniques – both Qualitative and Quantitative, and the data analysis processes involved
  • Analyze viewership trends, plan ad hoc research projects wherever needed in order to deliver actionable inputs across content and marketing
  • Quantitative & Qualitative – Plan Consumer Connects, be familiar with Communication testing, Concept testing etc., work closely with data analysts to decode BARC based viewership metrics
  • Ensure robust maintenance of knowledge management processes so that consumer learnings are shared across teams within the Organization
  • Provide expert analysis and insights to business stakeholders so as to make it actionable in the marketplace

  • Timeliness of delivery

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 to 7 years of work experience - preferably in Marketing Research & Analysis
  • Those with client-end experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required - MBA / PG degree preferable

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Experience in Media planning or research function of Television / Broadcasters
  • Ability to understand numbers and make informed choices
  • Ability to apply analytical tools
  • Consumer insights and Research methodology knowledge preferable

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Team player
