JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for someone with analytics & quantitative bent of mind with a clear understanding of Marketing function. Listed below are key planned/ongoing analytics projects wrt Marketing spends – both Media and Non-Media across business units:

Media

  • Savings delivery committed by the Agency post ConsolidationBuying analytics and metrics driving efficiencies
    • Automation of the MediaPath (global Audit form) way of TV Savings computation
  • Marketing ROI of Media spends for Star business units
    • Communication effectiveness scorecard to reduce inefficiencies in promo airing & utilization. Ongoing project across GEC, Regional and Sports BU
    • Show Launch success framework – Recommendations for successful launches with optimal support
    • Marketing ROI– Devise integrated ROI metric for measurement; ROI dashboard to visualise the performance metrics across Business units, POE – Paid, Owned, earned media approach to Show Marketing
    • Marketing effectiveness driving initiatives
    • Screen Planning – media agnostic planning for Owned media
    • OOH planning tool – built on 3 year DB, SOV approach to budgeting,  Quality factored into selection of units, Rate trend analytics for efficiency check

Non-Media

  • Analytics support to ongoing projects led by the P&I team
    • Machine analysis for cutting promo production wastage 
  • Communication efficacy mapping
  • Framework to quantify and measure creative efficacy of Communication
  • Integrated measure of Celebrity Buzz
    • Framework to analyse & measure factors driving celebrity buzz across platforms

  • MBA with Consulting or Marketing Analytics experience
  • Strong Analytical skills - R expertise (preferably)
  • Disruptive thinking
  • Storytelling with data with good marketing understanding
  • Ability to bring method to unstructured tasks
  • Strong project management skills, to take ideas through to the delivery stage
  • Media Industry understanding (preferably)
  • Desire to learn new things, Drive, Passion, Commitment, Self-motivated
