Job Summary:

Overall Purpose of the Role :

The role is for a Sr. Exec – Programming Strategy & Insights within the English & Hindi Movie Channels
Portfolio. The role demands a person who is an Insights generator & Solutions provider. This person will be responsible for driving content strategy through creative ideas, research, and strategic planning to maximize viewership of our Hindi and English Movie channels.


Areas of Responsibility:

Implement the content strategy for the channel/cluster basis channel objectives, content pipeline, market scenario, competition, etc. to ensure the HMOV and EMOV vertical achieves overall viewership targets.

• Will drive projects with the aim to build a strong programming plan & channel strategy based on consumer understanding, content trends and revenue potential.
• To identify and predict viewership trends through industry reports, articles, BARC/ZAPR data.
• Analyze daily/weekly viewership data to fuel viewership growth.
• Planning of monthly channel FPCs, Promo plan and Break strategies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders like OAP, Marketing, Traffic & Presentation and Ops to ensure smooth channel functioning.
• Ideation and implementation of the Programming Calendar for the year including key tent poles driving viewership.
• Ideating and collaborating with Brand Solutions & PRS to help maximize revenue across the niche channel portfolio.
• Work on internal review/reports and Sales decks to help create strong narratives for brand and channel performance.

Basic Qualifications:

Qualification and Experience required :

MBA from a reputed B school preferred but not mandatory
Exposure in the media industry will help

Strong Quantitative and Analytical skills
• Excellent Communication & Presentation skills
• Good understanding of English content
• Strong Interpersonal skills
• MS Excel & PowerPoint proficiency is a must
• Should be able to adapt and deliver to the ever-dynamic and high-pressure business environment.
