Job Summary:

Sales Manager Content Sales (f/m/d)
(Fixed term contract for 24 months)

The Sales Manager Content Sales is responsible for the distribution of the vast content portfolio aligned with wider TWDC corporate strategies and achieving targets to linear and digital streaming clients for the Benelux region. In addition the remit includes responsibility for the distribution of Formats and Factual content in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales and distribution of the full content portfolio including US scripted series, studio features films, formats, branded services and factual content across Currents and Library across broadcast and on demand windows in the Benelux region
  • Manage the sales and distribution for formats and factual content in the GSA region
  • On an ongoing basis creatively tailor sales pitches and sales initiatives to license content to market via direct licensing
  • Identify and create new opportunities for sales as a result of new entrants, emerging markets, changing technology and/or delivery systems
  • Manage relationships with clients in the Territory
  • Follow up with clients on requests and series launches and key feature film premieres or scheduling
  • Work effectively with departmental colleagues & cross-functionally with members of the Content Sales, Deal Management, Finance, Research, Legal teams amongst other stakeholders


Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experienced in sales of Studio and Network series, feature films and other entertainment content.
  • Demonstrable track record of achieving stretching sales targets and delivering growth in excess of the market
  • Fluent written and spoken English and German language skills
  • MS office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Salesforce
  • Excellent communicator, with strong influencing skills and the ability to work with peers and senior executives locally and on a remote basis
  • Understanding of the broadcast industry and how it is evolving, economics of TV and the marketplace
  • Travel (also international) required
