The ABC Signature Casting Department is responsible for overseeing the casting process of scripted television shows for various platforms including ABC, Hulu, NatGeo, Disney+, Freeform, ONYX, and FX.

A Day in the Life…
First and foremost, we need team players in our office. You’ll find that in the world of TV development and production, everyone puts in the time and the effort. You should use this time to learn as much as you can and enjoy the fact that because you’re an intern, you’ll be able to explore different opportunities at this constantly evolving company.
At the very minimum, you will be expected to:
Become a member of a smart, fun, and collaborative team
Assist in identifying and casting emerging talent
Help find new ways to collaborate in the most efficient and quality-driven way
Assist with desk and phone coverage
Assist in compiling lists, grids, charts, documents, memos, and scheduling
Communicate with talent representatives regarding actor availability and material for casting consideration
The ABC Signature Casting team seeks a self-motivated candidate who is curious, embraces innovation, has a strong desire to learn, grow, and help drive diversity, equity, and inclusion priorities around market, culture, and people.
What we are looking for…
Proven skills utilizing Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
A high attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
A demonstrated proficiency with both Mac and PC operating systems
A strong interest in Television and the Entertainment Industry
Previous experience in entertainment and casting
Undergraduate students in their Junior or Senior year, or a recent graduate (applying within six months of graduation)
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program
All candidates must be eligible to work in the US.
All candidates must be at least 18 years old.
Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
This internship is a hybrid internship based in New York. While working remote, the internship requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace. You will be asked to come into our offices on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for the days we are working in person.
All candidates must be available to work full-time hours (approximately 40 hours/week), Monday through Friday 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM ET.
