Creative Studio a division of DTCI supports Disney Advertising Sales brands, which include ABC, ABC Owned, ABC News, ESPN, Freeform, FX, Nat Geo and Disney Channel, through branded and customized communication collaterals and various graphics and digital media across all media platforms.


Responsibilities:


A Day in the Life:

This person is responsible for assisting in the production of all audio-visual elements in support of the division’s advertising sales and marketing efforts by utilizing their various skills in motion graphics, 3D, video editing, presentation and brand ID design. This position will report to the Executive Director of Video and Interactive for Disney Advertising Sales Creative Studio.

Basic Qualifications:


What You Bring to the Role:
  • Intermediate experience with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro.
  • Basic knowledge of After Effects.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Apple Keynote.
  • Comprehends website and interactive design.
  • Understands current production motion graphics/editing techniques.
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking and a good communicator.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, embraces teamwork and works well collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Capable of producing short sizzle reels utilizing Apple Final Cut Pro and/or Adobe Premiere.
  • Knowledge of Cinema 4D, and/or strong animation and/or editing skills.
  • Good knowledge of computer hardware/software.
  • Understands brand communication.

Required Education

  • Enrolled as a junior, senior or graduate student in an accredited college/university in the semester prior to the internship

Additional Information:


Internship Eligibility:
  • Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Program Dates: The length of this internship is 12 weeks, and the dates are June 1 – August 21, 2020. There may be flexibility with dates based on the candidate’s academic calendar. Interns will work 40 hours per week and must provide full availability throughout the internship.

Housing: This internship is located in New York, NY. Participants on this internship must provide their own housing.

Transportation:
Must provide own transportation to/from work.
