The Disney Advertising Multimedia Sales group maintains client planning/buying relationships within the United States. They are responsible for creating effective Media and Marketing campaigns for clients across all of Disney’s platforms. Not only does the Multimedia Sales team create multimillion dollar advertising campaigns for some of the most popular sports and entertainment, but also they are responsible for bringing these Marketing concepts to life. Job Summary:

The Associate Account Executive (AAE) role, which is typically the step taken before becoming an Account Executive (AE), provides specialized sales support for Multimedia Account Executives within Disney Advertising Sales. The AAE’s manage the cold call process by qualifying advertisers, participating in partner strategy including researching companies and their brands to provide a comprehensive synopsis of the business, and creating a suitable plan and negotiating a good price for the network for client-direct business. An individual capable of managing personalities, who is willing to work hard and has a love for sales thrives in this Multimedia Sales role.

Role Description:
  • Reporting into the Director, Multimedia Sales - CPG
  • Responsible for building strong relationships with clients and their agencies – agency strategy/planning teams, while driving revenue. A critical part of being a successful Account Executive is gaining insight into customer needs and experiences and translating those into sellable opportunities.

  • Drive multi-media revenue to Disney
  • Work alongside Account Executive, being their right hand to help drive client business forward
  • Track all meetings, closed deals & prospected clients on a weekly basis
  • Manage deadlines for deck preparation and recommend content: sponsorships, research, creative examples
  • Pursue and follow up on new business leads using available resources, including cold calling perspective clients
  • Making recommendations for client specific needs as outlined in RFP
  • Review trades daily and capture industry and account specific information to share with team
  • Participate in client meetings/presentations
  • Ownership of external and internal deadlines across multiple departments
  • Contribute to a positive culture of inclusion, and uphold the values of Disney Ad Sales

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of media sales experience
  • Must have working knowledge digital landscape and platforms
  • Experience working in and navigating large complex organizations
  • Excellent communication skills and negotiation techniques
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Strong Power point and Excel experience
  • Positive, detail oriented, self-starter
  • Willingness to travel

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
