Job Summary:Disney Streaming Services is a business unit within The Walt Disney Company’s Direct-to-Consumer and International (DTCI) segment that oversees all consumer-facing digital video subscription services across the company. Disney Streaming is responsible for developing and operating The Walt Disney Company’s Direct-to-Consumer and International (DTCI) segment that oversees all consumer-facing digital video subscription services across the company. Disney Streaming is responsible for developing and operating The Walt Disney Company’s direct-to-consumer video businesses globally, including the ESPN+ premium sports streaming service, programmed in conjunction with ESPN; the upcoming Disney streaming service, Disney+; and BAMTECH Media, a global leader in direct-to-consumer video streaming products and solutions. In addition to first-party apps, Disney Streaming operates the flagship NHL app and out-of-market package, NHL.TV, in partnership with the National Hockey League. Its core mission is to deliver global audiences the freedom to access content on their terms across any connected device, time or location.
Disney Streaming Services is a place for the creative and the bold. We’re looking for an Associate Copywriter to partner with marketing team members in delivering performance marketing specific copy for Disney entertainment and sports streaming brands.
As Associate Copywriter your responsibilities will include writing and editing original copy for advertising campaigns across our streaming product offerings and maintaining brand consistency across multiple audiences.
The ideal candidate has a passion for sports and top tier entertainment brands and experience in digital and social marketing within an agency or internal marketing teams. Exceptional communication, editing and organizational with a proven track record of bringing campaigns to life across digital and social platforms is a must in a collaborative environment.

- Write and editing original copy for performance-based marketing campaigns.
- Researching industry-related topics and identifying opportunities
- Leveraging consumer data to identify strategic messaging per audience segments
- Prepare and publish articles that describe our company and products
- Edit and fact-check pieces of content generated by colleagues
- Liaise with Designers to enrich text with visual aids, like images and charts
- Shape language and tone used in sales emails, banners, videos and landing sites
- Audit campaign marketing messaging for consistency and relevance
- Proven work experience as a Copywriter or similar role
- Strong editorial and organizational skills
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
- An ability to write creative copy both for large pieces of content (e.g. product descriptions) and smaller texts (e.g. email, social media posts)
- Solid time-management skills
- Basic keyword search knowledge
- BS in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or relevant field
