Responsibilities :

Join our Times Square Disney store team as the Associate General Manager, helping to lead our highest volume Disney store location in the world! Times Square is an international tourist destination and acts as a showcase for the best of Disney in experience and merchandise including hosting special events to support many of our synergy partners throughout the Walt Disney Company. In partnership with the General Manager, the Associate General Manager will be responsible for executing the day-to-day action plans to provide an effective and efficient store operation.
  • Develop strategies and translate into specific priorities, goals and action plans
  • Oversees all cash wrap processes requiring management approval to ensure customers are served in accordance with customer service policies and cashier guidelines
  • Model, encourage, and shows best behaviors on the sales floor
  • Develop and train all Cast Members on store procedures, and company initiatives and standards to ensure that everyone understands company direction
  • Improve overall Guest experience by collecting and analyzing feedback
  • Manage store staff, including hiring and creating staff schedules
  • Monitor the store fund to ensure the store has appropriate funds for daily/weekly business needs
  • Guarantees store is a well presented, neat, clean and safe environment for all Cast Members and Guests
  • Ensure participation in community involvement to drive brand awareness and loyalty
  • Work with upper management to increase sales and team member performance

Basic Qualifications :

  • 3+ years retail management experience, or equivalent Store Management experience in a high-volume locations.
  • Strong knowledge of merchandise presentation.
  • Available to work nights and weekends, including opening and closing shifts to meet needs of the business
  • Passion for product knowledge, customer service and selling
  • Communicate effectively with staff and management, even under pressure
  • Listen to feedback and take constructive action
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service
  • Motivate Cast Members to perform replenishment tasks which result in the customer satisfaction
  • Create a positive work environment • Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to climb a ladder
