Responsibilities:Associate Producers for World News with David Muir are responsible for supporting producers in all aspects of production – editorial and video research, writing, shooting, interviewing and basic editing. Associate Producers must also be able to work independently on stand-alone assignments including the World News Facecast, and Instant Index. Prior production experience and proven technical skills required. Creative, innovative approach important. Candidate must be willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends.
- Strong editorial and production skills, including prior news coverage experience
- Strong organizational skills and ability to perform duties under deadline
- Avid editing
- Camera and lighting - multiple formats
- Ability to generate original story ideas and produce original stories for broadcast
- Desire to work in a collaborative, high pressure environment
Required EducationBA or work experience equivalent
