Job Summary:

The Digital Comics compositors convert print comics from the 1930s to today for digital sale, working together as a team to complete the many books Marvel makes available to its readers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lay out single-issue print comics and collected editions as digital comics
  • Use internal software to create panel-to-panel reading experience
  • Rename files for achieving
  • Upload files to vendors
  • Design covers
  • Proof files before books are made live

Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong design skills
  • Work well with a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign)
  • Basic knowledge of Marvel Comics and its characters

Required Education

BA / BS degree or relevant work experience
