Disney Streaming Services is responsible for developing and operating The Walt Disney Company’s direct-to-consumer video businesses globally, including the ESPN+ premium sports streaming service; the upcoming Disney subscription video service; and BAMTECH Media, a global leader in direct-to-consumer video streaming products and solutions. A Day in the Life...
  • Analyze and track the competitive marketplace for sports broadcasters and emerging sports streaming platforms, with a focus toward branded communications and brand positioning
  • Collaborate with Acquisition and Lifecycle marketing teams to ensure ESPN+ brand consistency across consumer touchpoints
  • Interface with Disney Streaming Services and ESPN marketing teams to evaluate performance of brand-specific marketing campaigns
  • Work with ESPN+ business unit to assist with development of brand marketing, event marketing, and sport-specific marketing campaigns
  • Develop and execute market research plans for key strategic segments
  • Develop reporting and analysis frameworks based on business Key Performance Indicators
  • Assist with development and maintenance of brand style guides for distribution to internal and external partners

Basic Qualifications:

  • Direct experience in a marketing, strategy, or business operations role
  • High degree of comfort and proficiency working with large data sets and building presentations for business leaders
  • Process-oriented with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong proficiency with language, including written and verbal communications
  • Basic understanding of digital communications and advertising channels and technologies
  • Adaptable, can embrace both change and ambiguity while continuing to drive projects forward
  • High degree of comfort and proficiency working with large data sets and building presentations for business leaders
  • Self-starter with a bias toward collaborative problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Media/Entertainment Industry Experience
  • Sports Marketing Experience
  • Marketing Agency / Marketing Platform Experience
  • Previous competitive and market research experience

Required Education

  • Must currently be enrolled in an MBA program and taking at least one class – OR – be a recent graduate (Dec 2019) of an MBA program.

Preferred Education

  • MBA from a top-tier University

Additional Information:

Internship Eligibility:

  • Must be enrolled in an MBA program taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR a Dec 2019 graduate of an MBA program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship while enrolled in an MBA program

Professional Internship:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Must provide full work availability during Program Length (listed below)
  • Must provide own transportation to/from work
  • Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)

Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are June 8-August 21st, 2020.

Ability to provide own relocation, housing and transportation. Position is located in New York City.

Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship.
